Position Summary

The individual will be responsible for processing a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing of parts to jobs, physically moving parts and assisting in counting inventory for the New Mexico area in a fast-paced environment. The individual will be part of a small team of assigned warehouse personnel related to daily operations of parts/materials department and related inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Make deliveries and pick up parts and supplies
  • Ship and receive parts orders utilizing various forms of technology – computer, barcode scanner
  • Process order requests from Parts Coordinators in a timely and efficient manner to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Unload trucks, inspect materials for damage or defects, and assemble as needed for placement into warehouse
  • Clear and timely communication with cross-functional personnel (Operations, AMS, Shops, Management, Accounting)
  • Participate in cycle counting and physical inventory counts
  • Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area(s)
  • Handle special projects, as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 1 year Parts department experience in the compression industry or mechanical service
  • Must be available for on-call parts/materials requests 24/7
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Forklift operator certification is a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • High school degree or equivalent

Physical Demands:

  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle and parts trailer
  • Frequent standing, bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights

Ability to commute / relocate:

  • Midland, TX (Permian Basin): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
