Position Summary
Processes a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to job, physically moving parts and counting inventory.
Responsibilities:
Asks the right questions about what is needed and help the requestor through the process of identifying the correct part and part number.
Look up part numbers, populate into system in a timely and accurate manner.
Create and track approved internal/purchase requisitions for parts, services and expenses.
Communicate with cross-functional departments (Operations, AMS, Shops, Management).
Unload trucks and inspect materials for damage or defects, as well as assembly for placement into warehouse.
Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle.
Effectively demonstrate time management and organizations skills needed to complete tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines.
Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area(s).
Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
Read, write and speak English.
Fulfills other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, transferring, and inventory control.
Knowledge of gas compression parts and related industry equipment preferred.
Experience with inventory managements systems, preferably with QB Enterprise and using multi-warehouse systems.
Microsoft Office.
Additional Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license and good driving record
Forklift operator certification
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pressure
Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
Frequent standing, bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights.
Must be able to lift and/or carry objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
